Berlusconi Ready to Buy Back Milan
Silvio Berlusconi was jokingly emphasizing that he might buy AC Milan back.
The former Prime Minister of Italy sold the club in April this year to Chinese investors led by Yonghong Li to take over.
Having previously expressed doubt over the new owner of the Rossoneri, the former president joked about buying Diavolo again in a conference in Italy.
Mediaset took French company Vivendi to court after they pulled out of a deal worth 800 million Euros to buy Mediaset Premium, which is a pay-TV branch of the company.
Berlusconi and its parent company Fininvest are seeking € 3bn in damages, but according to estimates Vivendi will pay around 500m euros to avoid a court case.
“And with the money, maybe I will buy Milan again,” Berlusconi said, as reported by local media.
